This last Saturday I participated in the Annual Creswell Winter Lights Festival holiday market. I reached out last minute to see if they had an opening and as luck would have it, they had a last-minute cancellation. It was a great event, I was surrounded by wonderful vendors, and I am grateful to the coordinators at the Creswell Chamber of Commerce for allowing me to be part of this community’s time-honored event. I hope to work with them again at future events!
I was at the community center, where Santa met with local children in the morning and various groups played live music all afternoon into the evening. The community response to the event was impressive, especially given the size of the town.
The majority of my products for this event were smaller items including coloring books and journals. Recently I have been collaborating with my best friend creating one-of-a-kind art that we then adhere to journals. They make excellent gifts.
I don’t know where I will be displaying or selling my work next, but I’ve been actively researching locations in the Eugene area and hope to have more local exposure in the near future.
